Himalayan Nettle Fabric

This beautiful, handwoven fabric is made entirely from handspun Himalayan Giant Nettle — locally known as Allo in Nepal. It originates from the high-altitude forests of Sankhuwasabha, a region east of Kathmandu renowned for its exceptionally fine nettle yarn.
From harvesting and retting to spinning and weaving, every stage of production is done by hand using traditional methods, making this fabric a true celebration of sustainable Himalayan craftsmanship.

Sold by: 0.5 metre increments (multiple orders will be sent as a continuous length)
🧼 Please Note
This is a loomstate fabric — meaning it comes straight off the loom and is untreated. We strongly recommend pre-washing before tailoring, as some shrinkage may occur.
