NATURAL DYEING

Soul Aligned

We choose natural dyeing not only for its beauty, but for the rhythm it follows — slow, intentional, and deeply connected to the earth.

Our Nature’s Palette

Madder

Warm pinks and reds.

An ancient colour of comfort, often used to soothe and uplift.

Indigo

Deep blue like the ocean.

Loved for centuries for its antibacterial qualities and timeless depth.

Himalayan Rhubarb

Golden yellow with hints of amber.

Harvested from mountain roots, this dye evokes the warmth of the sun and the strength of the earth.

Pomegranate

Soft yellows and gentle greens.

A calming tone that brings balance and grounding.

Acacia

Muted browns and warm earthy shades.

Naturally rich in tannins, bringing depth and quiet elegance.

Maharangi

Subtle shades of olive and warm brown.

A traditional Himalayan dye plant known for its earthy, grounding palette.

Myrobalan

Golden hues with soft earthy undertones.

Often used as a base to enhance and layer other colours.

Walnut

Deep brown with cool undertones.

A classic natural dye used for centuries to achieve rich, smoky shades with long-lasting wear.

Lac

Vivid pink to soft crimson.

A natural resin extracted from insects, offering a rich, warm tone that wears beautifully with age.

How We Dye

All our fabrics are dyed slowly by hand in Nepal using traditional methods passed down through generations.

No synthetic chemicals, no rush — just the patience of nature and the skill of local artisans.

For over 15 years, we have been working with a skilled dye master in Lhubu, Nepal. Once a professor of chemistry in his early years, he has been dedicated to the art of natural dyeing and handloom weaving for many years.

Aging Gracefullly

Naturally dyed colours evolve over time—just like you.

As natural fibres soften, the colours mellow too, revealing hidden treasures from nature’s wonder.
