🌿Crochet Sun Hats - Hemp/ Nettle/ Linen/ Hemp Cotton
Each of these sun hats is hand-crocheted in Nepal using natural fibres — hemp, nettle, linen, or a blend of hemp and cotton. Every hat tells the quiet story of mountains, plants, hands, and time.
With an internal wire along the brim’s edge, you can gently shape it to suit your mood. These hats pack flat — perfect for travel — but to keep them happy for many summers, avoid folding the wire.
✨ Material Guide
Hemp & Nettle – Handspun yarns with organic texture and rustic charm. Harvested and spun by villagers in the foothills of Nepal. Each thread is full of character.
Linen – Fine, smooth yarn machine-spun in India. Creates a more refined look with a balanced feel.
Hemp Cotton – A blend of wild and structured: handspun Himalayan hemp meets machine-spun Indian cotton, crocheted together in harmony.
Wide Brim Version – An elegant twist on the hemp & the hemp cotton hat, offering a little more sun coverage (approx. 9cm brim).
🧶 Sizing
Head circumference: approx. 55–58cm
Brim width: approx. 7cm (standard) / 9cm (wide brim)
Each hat is individually handmade, and while unique, they are designed to fit most average head sizes comfortably. If the hat feels too tight, you can gently stretch it. If it feels too loose, you can soak it in warm water and let it dry to slightly shrink it.
