HEMP
Hemp is used for a wide variety of purposes and can be used in 100% hemp products, but is commonly blended with other organic fibers such as flax, cotton or silk, for clothing, most commonly at a 55%/45% hemp/cotton blend.

Cannabis Sativa is the variety grown for industrial use, while Cannabis Indica generally has poor fiber quality and is primarily used for recreational and medicinal drugs. The major difference between the two types of plants is the appearance and the amount of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) contained.

Wild Nepalese Hemp
In the mountains of Nepal, hemp has been used for centuries because of its strength and durability. it is indigenous and regenerates quickly after harvesting. it grows like a weed and requires little or no irrigation, chemical applications or mechanical processing. It is one of the best green fibres with an enviable environmental profile.
